I felt the urge to write and paint at a very young age. I also read a lot while pursuing classical scientific studies in which I do not thrive, except the splendor of blackboards covered with mathematical formulas which fascinates me with its aestheticism. I buy my first Pentax ME Super and am passionate about photography. I frequent a Photography store in Limoges, "La Photogalerie" rue Jules Guesde where I befriended Luc, its owner. He gives me the chance to manage the store during the month of August, with our friend Patrick. Passionate discussions on the image, photography punctuate our days and often our evenings. I thank them again today. I read, I observe this world from the height of my eighteen years. I exhibit at La Photogalerie, then at the Pavillon du Verdurier, with young Limousin artists.  

 

I only dream of adventures and of becoming a war reporter. So I take advantage of my military service to go to the School of Reserve Officers. But the aeronautical career catches up with me at the same time as the need to provide for my life. So I would always be an "amateur" photographer, trying to work like a professional but without needing to make a living from it. By keeping my freedom of movement and taking advantage of many professional trips, all over the world to fulfill my thirst for creations.  

 

At the dawn of my fiftieth birthday, I finally produced this site and a book in the process of being finalized at the same time as a rich and sinuous permanent spiritual research closely linked to photography. This space is not an end but a departure. The departure towards a new life of "amateur photographer seeking".​
